Ciena Corporation ( NASDAQ:CIEN ) was a big winner today. The price of the stock closed up $0.66, a 3.14% increase. During the trading day, over 3.7 million shares of Ciena's were traded. The stock seems to have broken out of a three-week trading range in the $21 area. I feel that there will be a continuation move tomorrow, but I want to see it break through a big psychological resistance at the $22 level. There are several short and mid term technical indications suggesting that CIEN could make a move to higher levels. Keep a close eye on CIEN for Tuesday.

Apple Inc. ( NASDAQ:AAPL ) hit a new 52-week high today, trading as high as $330.26, before settling at a close of $329.57. I'll be watching the stock on Tuesday, looking for a follow through move. Resistance reflects today’s high of $330.26. Keep an eye on AAPL because there is good upside in this stock.
